  • Wearing face masks is required in the Waikiki Aquarium. Following the increase in COVID-19 cases across the state, the continuation of existing masking requirements was recommended by UH medical and public health experts and the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health and affirmed by UH Officers and administration officials on all campuses. A decision on whether the requirement will remain in place for the fall is expected by mid-August.
  • Face masks must be worn at all times by all visitors over the age of 2.
  • For guests who do not come prepared, face masks may be purchased at the Aquarium Gift shop.
  • Guests are required to obey signage requiring a six-foot distance between individual visitors or different groups.
