You can donate to our membership organization, Friends of the Waikīkī Aquarium, or through UH Foundation (UHF withholds a 5% gift fee).

George Tinker, son of Waikīkī Aquariumʻs second director Spencer Tinker, on a memorable Aquarium visit. George spent his childhood at the Aquarium where his father managed the facility and its construction, which the current Aquarium is still housed in today. Shown in the picture, George is holding a special artwork made as an homage to his father and the Tinkerʻs Butterflyfish named after Spencer. To George, the Waikīkī Aquarium remains a unique place filled with history!
