Bring the Marine Environment into Your Classroom

Saturday, November 9th, 2019
9:00 am – 12:00 noon
Waikiki Aquarium Classroom

It is humpback whale season in Hawaii! Participate in hands-on classroom activities to teach your students about these awesome creatures. Learn about the life, times and biology as we draw the whales to scale, the migrations, unique feeding strategies and impacts they face. There will also be hands-on activities to excite students about coral reef habitats, who lives there, and things they can do to help protect the fragile ecosystems. Activities will be geared to 5-6 grade level and easily adjusted to other grade levels.
