Begin front of house, learning how the Aquarium recreates the habitats of Hawai’i and the tropical Pacific and how animals are selected for exhibits. Then step behind the scenes to discover what it takes to keep an Aquarium running.

See how exhibits are designed and learn about the life-support systems that keep animals healthy, including lighting, temperature control, filtration, and quarantine.

Along the way, participants will also get to feed some animals and participate in enrichment activities such as archerfish target-shooting!

*Starting in September, 2026. Tours begin at 3:00 PM on Wednesdays. The tour includes admission: $25 per adult, $20 per child (minimum age: 10 years old).
