WAIKIKI AQUARIUM CELEBRATES MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH WITH MILITARY DISCOUNTS
Honolulu, HI (April 13, 2015) – The Waikiki Aquarium celebrates Military Appreciation Month this May with special admission pricing for all active-duty military and their families, and a special membership rate.
Throughout the month of May, the Aquarium is extending its $8 military rate to the friends and families of active military. To claim the rate, groups must be accompanied by an active member of the military who can present a valid military I.D. in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard or Reserve. Active military who are interested in joining Friends of Waikiki Aquarium (FOWA) during the month of May will also enjoy a $10 discount on Family and Family Plus one-year memberships. Members of FOWA receive many special benefits and unlimited free entry to the Aquarium.

Founded in 1904 and administered by the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa since 1919, the Waikiki Aquarium is located on the shoreline of Waikiki Beach next to a living reef and across from Kapiolani Park.
